Vintage Westerly 77 Guild F50R Jumbo Acoustic Guitar
This is Guild's Jumbo model - big guitar - big sound!
Serial # 164253
Pro set-up - plays quite well.
The resonance of this guitar is beautiful and
the volume
impressive. Mic it - sounds Amazing!
Neck angle is fine - and does NOT need a neck re-set which is common in Guild guitars.
An input jack was installed at one time - and there was also a very small volume pot on the top which I had removed and filled with a small Spruce inlay.
All work done professionally as well as set-up by one of the finest luthiers in the US who has worked on celebrity owned guitars. If you want it to be electric - you place a high quality LR Baggs pick up in the soundhole - nothing should be placed on the soundboard of an acoustic instrument of this quality You can see in the picture the small spruce inlay.

Binding has aged nicely - yellowed.
Have owned 3 Guild F50s. 72' F50  Natural - Maple - and an 87' F50R - Indian Rosewood back and sides.
This 77" F50R is way more resonant than the 87' F50R.  Wood has aged in 43 years and sounds great.
