Vintage 10 Kt Black Hills Gold Thimble
by Simons Bros. * Circa 1950s
This very unusual thimble has is solid 10 Kt rose gold and the band has applied leaves of gold from the Black Hills of South Dakota. The top has a beautifully modeled & engraved rose gold flower in their well known style.
It was made by Simons Bros. of Philadelphia and has their shield logo inside the top along with "10K".
The note with it said it was bought in South Dakota as a souvenir in 1952.
The condition is excellent, mint really, with no holes, dents, wear or scratches
. It
weighs 5.2 grams
.
It has no personalization and is
about a
size 12 (17.4 mm diameter opening).
