This is a beautiful and rare singed 1980 Eric Sahlin of Spokane, Washington 8 string handmade Classical guitar. It is 99.9% in mint condition, appearing to have never been played. There are no pick marks, no fret ware and no belt buckle marks on the back. I spoke to Eric by phone about this guitar and he told me that in 1980 , he built 17 guitars that year and this was the only 8 string. He has all of the information about this guitar and shared with me that the top was spruce and if I might add it has extremely tight growth rings. The neck is mahogany as well as the fret board. The tuners are by Gotoh and he has put a spectacular lacquer finish on this guitar. The rosette around the sound hole, is a piece of art just by itself.  The scale length is 25 5/8" and has a twisted neck. The workmanship in this piece is flawless. The guitar will come with a hard shell case. A simple search on google will give more info on this man and his guitars. I can see why there is an almost 10 year waiting list to own one of his instruments. My shipping cost includes insurance and signature confirmation. Carrier may change depending on destination. If shipping and insurance is cheaper than estimated, seller will refund difference.  If buyer chooses to return item, buyer pays for return shipping and insurance.
All sterling silver items sold are estate/pre-owned pieces, therefore they will inherently have some signs of use. Sterling weight can either be listed in oz(postal), toz (troy ounces) or grams.
