Made in Nazareth, PA
This has been in the family for a very long time, but it’s time to pass along for someone else to enjoy.
Guitar was sent off to Martin in Nazareth, PA approximately 20 years ago to be professionally restored/refurbished so it’s in gorgeous condition. Some areas do still show wear from use as it’s almost 100 years old, but it still has a brilliant shine & plays beautifully (please examine all pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description~additional pics can be provided upon request) This guitar came to us many years after it had been restored, so we don’t have any paperwork detailing what was done, just what has been described to us.
One of the things done by Martin during the refurbishment process mentioned above involved replacing the bridge to accommodate steel strings (which is why the bridge is a little larger than others of the same age and model)
The guitar body (back and sides) are made from rare Brazilian Rosewood. The top is made from Adirondack Spruce. (Spoke with Martin Guitar customer service regarding the specific type of wood in June 2021 to update this listing to be as accurate as possible. They can tell you the specs based on the serial number 21254.)
Overall length is 38 inches, widest point 13.5 inches, depth 4 inches
Comes with black case (overall condition of case is good, a few minor little dents here and there), pick, as well as extra steel strings
This large, heavy and fragile item will be very carefully packed for shipping and also fully insured to make sure it arrives safely.
No returns accepted. Please ask any questions in advance. Thanks so much for looking!
