The BMS it supports up to 51.2V series or 16 parallel installations of the same voltage and same capacity (4S4P), please fully charge the batteries before series/parallel installation to ensure that each battery is at the same voltage and same capacity.
FREQUENTLY QUESTIONS ASKED
Q: Can I connect batteries with AGM batteries?
A: We do not suggest you connect lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries with AGM batteries, as they are two different types of batteries and their charging and discharging are very different.
Q: Are batteries waterproof?
A: All of our LiFePO4 battery has an IP65 protection class, which sets you free from worrying to install it indoors or outdoors. But when charging or discharging the battery, please be careful not to let the post bolts or terminals come into contact with water, as this may damage the battery.
Q: How to activate BMS when the battery is dead?
A: General Steps If the BMS has cut off the battery for protection, follow the below steps to activate it.
Step 1: Cut off all the connections from the battery
Step 2: Leave the battery aside for 30mins. Then the battery will automatically recover itself to normal voltage (
＞
10V) and can be used after fully charged.
If the battery is unable to recover itself after the above steps.please try activating by one of below two methods.
After activated (voltage
＞
10V) and fully charged by the normal charging method, it can be used normally.
Method ① Use a charger with a 0V charging function to fully charge the battery
Method ② Connect an 18V-36V solar panel directly to charge the battery without a controller for 10~30mins in sunny daytime.
Q: What is the 12V/24V/48V battery voltage of a fully charged battery?
A: The battery capacity could be roughly estimated by its voltage. As there are subtle differences in the voltage of each battery, the below parameters are for reference only.
The voltage needs to be tested at rest (with zero current) after 30 mins of disconnecting from the charger & loads.
